To historians, locals, and all those with ancestors buried there, or for genealogical research. It's also a great place to have a small quiet picnic!
Don't just go to one tour. Each one is different. Even if you've been to a similar tour in the past, go again. You'll hear completely different stories. As a Sac native, I'm trying to explore local history and if you're a native, or a visitor, this is a MUST do.

I always bring a book and a lunch and spend a couple of hours just enjoying the serenity and the beauty of the grounds. Kudos to all those volunteers who make this one of the best cemeteries I've ever visited!
